OVERVIEW:
Patient Connect is an app used by clinical trial participants that reports in real time to study coordinators and sponsors.
OBJECTIVES:
a) Observe and manage treatments:
• Reduce the risk of missing data through support for tracking multiple treatments, including background medication, helping sites to decide when a patient may need support to stay on track with their treatment plan.
• Detect if a patient is purposefully not taking their medications, allowing sites to intervene before this behavior impacts a trial's data.
• Train.
b) Support diversity in clinical trials:
• Advance inclusive clinical research.
• Ensure all patients can effectively participate in trials.
• Collect reliable, accurate, and inclusive data to help prove a drug's validity in the real world.
c) Remotely assess subtle responses to treatment:
• Pinpoint critical, sensitive treatment responses, such as facial tremors or eye twitches, with the frequency and accuracy needed to ensure clinical trial data integrity.
• Gain access to a pre-certified library of validated patient assessments and flexible questionnaires to capture direct patient feedback
